Reading Resistor Color Codes

4, 5, and 6 Band Resistors
- 4-Band: The most common type. Band 1 & 2 are digits, Band 3 is multiplier, Band 4 is tolerance.
- 5-Band: Used for higher precision (1% or less tolerance). Bands 1, 2 & 3 are digits.
- 6-Band: Includes a 6th band for Temperature Coefficient (PPM), indicating stability under heat.
